Goddesses, Living and Legendary: Malcolm Glass
The Framemaker proudly presents works by Clarksville, Tennessee artist Malcolm Glass. This exhibit is part of Clarksville’s First Thursday Art Walk on October 3, 2019. An opening reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The exhibit will remain on display at the Framemaker throughout the month of October during normal business hours (Mon. through Fri. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
Glass states: “With five photographs and a drawing I celebrate all goddesses, especially Yasmine, Queen of Spades, Iggy, Wood Nymph Tarron, Leila, and Firebird Arael. I hope that my photographs and drawing will engage viewers and draw them in so they might enter visual and emotional depths beyond the casual glance. I offer an invitation to take a journey into layers of response that I hope will linger and last.”
Malcolm Glass is a widely published writer. His photographs and art work have received numerous awards in exhibitions and galleries hither and yon.
The Framemaker is located at the corner of North Second Street and Georgia Avenue, across from the Clarksville Academy.
